Además de la peculiar forma que adquiere el asa, asegura el inventor que sus clientes le han comentado que la bolsa es más resistente por la forma de sus agarraderas y el corte medio entre las mismas, hace que el corte del plástico sea más fácil y no se desgarre, lo que implica menos desperdicio de bolsa a causa de cortes irregulares en la misma.
Siempre respaldado por expertos en propiedad industrial, el Ingeniero Tapia, ha conseguido la protección de su invención mediante un título de Diseño Industrial, con número de registro 31870, al cual nombró Modelo Industrial de Suaje para Asa de Bolsa, mismo que luce de la siguiente
